Community Guidelines
Last updated: May 26, 2026
AfroDatin only works if everyone here treats each other like an adult. These are the basics we expect from every member.
Be real
- Use your own recent photos. Save the group shot for your second or third picture, not your main one.
- One profile per person, and don't pretend to be someone you're not.
- Verify your account when you get a moment. The blue tick goes a long way with the right people.
Be respectful
- No harassment, hate, slurs, threats or unsolicited sexual content. Ever.
- If someone isn't interested, take the no. Unmatch and move on, don't argue.
- Treat differences in tribe, religion, country and language as something to learn from, not judge.
Stay safe
- Never send money to a match. If someone asks, it's a scam. Every time.
- Meet in public for the first few dates and use Safety Check-in so a friend knows where you are.
- If something feels off, report it. A real human reads every report within 24 hours.
Zero tolerance
These get you removed for good, no warning, no second chance:
- Anything involving minors, child exploitation or solicitation.
- Sex work, escorting or "sugar" arrangements.
- Scams, romance fraud or any kind of financial request.
- Hate speech, violent threats or sharing someone's private information.
You can report from any profile, chat or story. For anything urgent, email safety@afrodatin.com and we'll act on it right away.
